The questions we are asked most often in DMs. If yours is not here, write to us — we will answer personally.
Not in themselves. A micro-capsule attaches to a small strand at a distance from the roots and does not penetrate the hair shaft. Damage appears when one of three conditions is broken.
Weight. Loading too much donor hair onto fine hair keeps the roots under constant strain, which leads to breakage. This is why we match volume to your density rather than to a picture from the internet.
Removal. A capsule must be softened with a dedicated remover, not pulled off. Most stories that begin with "my hair fell out after extensions" are really about careless removal — often done at home.
Care and timely correction. Postponing a correction for six months lets capsules travel down, hair starts to tangle at the roots, and clean removal becomes much harder.
Usually two to three months before the first correction. The exact period depends less on the quality of the work than on how fast your hair grows — roughly one to one and a half centimetres a month, and the capsules travel down with it.
The donor hair itself lasts considerably longer. It is removed, re-capsuled and reused. How many such cycles a particular batch survives depends on the hair type and on aftercare.
In the size of the attachment point. A micro-capsule is noticeably smaller than a classic one, so there are more attachments, but each is lighter and less detectable.
In practice this means three things: you cannot feel the capsules under your fingers, they are harder to spot in a parting, and the load is distributed more evenly between strands. For fine hair, where a classic capsule would simply be too large, this is often the only workable option.
Roughly 10–15 cm. The capsule needs something to hold on to while staying hidden under the upper layer of hair — on very short hair it will simply show.
That figure is a guideline. Density, the shape of your cut and how your hair falls all matter. The only precise answer comes from looking at your hair — send a photo in DMs and we will tell you straight away, no visit required.
A full application takes about three to five hours, depending on volume. A correction usually takes longer than the first application, because the previous hair has to be removed and re-capsuled first.
Plan the visit without rushing. Good work does not get done faster, and haste always shows in the result.
With correct placement, no. Capsules are positioned so the upper layer of hair covers them: away from the parting, away from the hairline, and away from the zones that open up in everyday styling.
Capsule colour is matched to your shade at the roots. If you colour your roots, mention it in advance — it affects the choice.
They do become visible in a high, tight ponytail or when the nape is fully exposed. It is fair to know that limit in advance.
Wash standing upright in the shower, not with your head tipped forward into a basin. That keeps strands from tangling around each other at the roots.
Your shampoo and care routine can stay exactly as they were — we match the structure of the donor hair as closely as possible to your own.
Comb with a loop brush, working from the ends upward while holding the hair at the roots. Never comb wet hair.
You can dry your hair at your usual temperature — extensions need no radical change to your daily routine. It is better to go to bed with dry hair, gathered in a loose braid.
Colouring — yes. The hair is natural, so it takes anything: colouring, toning and any kind of styling. The capsule area can be coloured too.
Curling irons, straighteners and hairdryers — no restrictions, at your usual settings.
Pools and the sea are fine. Just rinse your hair with fresh water after swimming.
Sauna and hammam are fine too. The one rule that applies everywhere: do not stay in wet hair for long — dry it off.
A correction means removing the capsules that have travelled down, re-capsuling the same hair and reattaching it closer to the roots. The donor hair is kept, so a correction costs less than a new application.
Skipping it is a bad idea. Hair that sheds naturally every day stays trapped inside the capsule when extended — the longer you wait, the more of it accumulates there. That is exactly what creates matting at the roots and makes removal harder.
Yes, at any point. Removal is a separate procedure: capsules are treated with a solvent that softens the keratin, after which strands come away without any pulling.
The important part is not to do it yourself, and not to go somewhere that removes them "quickly". This is the stage where hair is damaged most often.
The cost has two separate parts: the stylist's work and the hair itself. That is why a single price "for extensions" does not exist — it depends on the volume needed, the length and the type of hair.
Every price — the stylist's work, Premium and Lux hair, colouring and care — is listed on the prices page.
The fastest way to find out your figure is to send a photo of your hair in DMs. We will assess the volume and quote you before you come in, with no obligation.
We do not work with standard-grade hair. It is mixed from several donors, often with no cuticle direction preserved — which is exactly why it costs a fraction of the price.
For the first few weeks you can barely tell the difference. After that the hair starts to tangle, around the capsules above all, loses its shine and dries out at the ends. Usually there is no point removing and re-capsuling it, so at the maintenance session you have to buy hair all over again.
We only use two grades — Premium and Lux. More expensive up front, but the hair survives several maintenance sessions, so per month of wear the difference is smaller than the first invoice suggests.
The easiest way is Instagram, where you can also send a photo for an estimate. Or by phone: +38 073 221 23 54.
The studio is at 3 Furmanska St, Lviv. Open Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00.
Send a photo of your hair — we will suggest what suits you and quote the price before you come in.
